Next Update
Spent the last couple o' days preparing for Becky's party and hanging out with Travis and Garrett.
27th June - HAPPY BIRTHDAY COUZ!
Incidentally, there's a HUGE warehouse sale on books today at the Singapore Expo. I really wanted to go, but had tennis lessons in the morning and a dentist appointment in the afternoon, AND still lots of stuff to do for Becky's birthday, which has been dubbed, "Princess Rebecca's Royal Ball". She's really excited.
28th June
Piano class cancelled today (yay!) but postponed til Monday (aww...). Finished the dragon for Becky's party and took an inventory of all the stuff I had (eg. things for the party bags, prizes for the games, tattoos, balloons, etc.).
29th June
Colette came over in the morning with her little sister, Kristen, to help out with Becky's party. We managed to pack all the party bags, blow up lots of pink and purple balloons, and start decorating the house. Lookin' good! Still haven't decided what to wear for the 'Royal Ball'(not allowed to be a 'wicked witch' and just wear all black because I might scare the little kids). Went to Newton Circus for dinner with Travis, Garrett and their parents. Newton Circus is one of the DA BEST places to eat in Singapore. It's got everything, from chai tao kue to black pepper crab to stingray sambal and loads of other delicious Singaporean cuisine to enjoy. It's one of my favorite hang-out spots, and normally there are mostly Singaporeans there, but when we went tonight there were a surprising number of ang mo lang eating there. We had cumi bakar, Hokkien mie, popiah, duck noodles, satay, and lots of other dishes. My cousins stayed over night and Elijah, another baby cousin, came over in the evening and met Jeremy for the first time. We put them both on the bed, side by side, and took pictures of the two babies. They were really cute.
